Apu's return good for industry: Bubly

Bubly, newly paired up with Dhallywood star Shakib Khan replacing Apu Biswas for several films, has said taking a break from the industry is a personal choice.

Bubly, the anchor-turned-actress, made this remarks while talking to actress Apu's comeback after a long hiatus. Apu has given a hint to come back strongly in the industry in some recent interviews.

"I have heard Apu took a long break from movies two or three years ago, too. It is her personal matter," said Bubly.  

However, Bubly said Apu's comeback is a positive thing for the film industry.

"Shabnur is no longer doing any films. Purnima too, is not a regular. So Apu's comeback is indeed good news. However, the way we respect senior artistes of the industry, I would expect the same in return," said Bubly.

When asked if any senior artiste did not do so, Bubly said, "I have heard Apu said she is not sure if anchoring is counted as an art. My colleagues called me up and said they felt bad after reading Apu's comment in newspapers."

Bubly said she believes that a polished articulation she learned from news presenting is part of acting.
